As far as fish n chips go this place is 5 star fresh and plentiful (If your from Australia looking for a potato cake they have potato fritters very close)

Always had good fish and chips out here, but just seen that their food standards star rating is a 1* so I guess you never know what goes on behind the counter regarding cleanliness and food preparation and hygiene. I will re-check and only return once their star rating from the food inspectors has increased. Genuinely surprised that this place currently has a 1 star.. *****UPDATE.... Papas fish n chips shop now been issued with a 5* rating issued from the food standards agency. Had a fish n chips from them a few days ago and it was a tasty bit of fish and chips 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

The best fish n chips, served by really great staff. I travel 14 miles every time, and will continue to do so. Freshly cooked and always a pleasure. It has now become a weekly ritual, all of my family and friends agree. 5 stars, "see you Monday!!!" 😉

First time I've used this shop. Very nice food, very busy and takes a bit of time but well worth the wait. The fish was delicious and well cooked and the chips were lovely. Would highly recommend.
